Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “There comes a time when silence is betrayal. That time is NOW. Sign petitions, contact your officials, donate what you can -- be an ally. Recognize your privilege, and use your platform to speak up and share information. We must educate ourselves and our communities.
My sister, Anoohya, and I have created a document, bit.ly/supportblmmovement, filled with resources to support the movement: petitions to sign, how to contact officials, places to donate, resources to educate yourself and your community, information for protesters, etc. If you are supporting BLM through specific means, like tutoring or commissions, let us know, and we will put this on the doc!
Additionally, through this gallery, I will be selling currently finished artwork and taking commissions for small pieces with the promise that 100% of commissions goes towards supporting #BlackLivesMatter. DETAILS FOR COMMISSIONS ARE BELOW.

You can commission me for small artworks (like portraits, character portraits, etc.):
NOTE: The prices are subject to change based on the difficult, but you will be notified before I begin.
- Sketches (9 in x 12 in) for $20 to $25
- Sketches (14 in x 17 in) for $50
- Oil paintings (9 in x 12 in or 12 in by 12 in) for $50-$75

If you buy a painting, you are welcome to specify an organization (there is an option in the form for this as well). You can donate and email apoorvaartgallery@gmail.com with proof of your donation, or you can direct your donation to Apoorva Art Gallery (through PayPal or Venmo), and we will send you a receipt showing you the proof of what your donation has supported.
For non-local orders (not in the Bay Area), we kindly ask that you provide sufficient funds for shipping. Please understand time constraints for artwork.
